Hi, could someone kindly give me the measurements of this phone holder? I'm in Italy and unfortunately I can't buy it so I decided to make it with a 3D printer.

I don't think a plastic printed version will work. The whole point of this thing is to be super thin, so it can fit between dash pod and main dash pad, without pushing dash pod out any significant amount.

That requires a material that can be very strong, even when very thin. Basically that means steel.

Bending your own with a sheet metal brake should be simple enough. Though you'll note there are some bends reinforced with pressed notch at the bend. You'd need to recreate those as well.

So what you really need is someone to create a template from theirs. A flat paper template you can trace onto metal, with each bend and each hole noted.

You can then trace that template into metal. Cut out the metal. Mark the holes, drill them, mark the bends, brake them.

Can't buy it? According to his website there are 24 of these still available at US$19. I didn't look for shipping restrictions but there are alternates.

A PLA 40mm x 160mm x 2.5mm test print I ran a few minutes ago seems stiff enough.and there are stronger materials. Developing a .STL model looks very challenging without the original and if some of those 24 are still available this looks like the solution even if you want to develop a 3D printed version.

If you develop a .STL file I'd like to see how it prints.
