Default OEM CR Seat Covers - Anyone know a source or have them made?

Has anyone gotten CR seat covers made to put on the standard 08 seats, or something similar? I find the leather too slippery and would like a bit more grip.

Failing this, anyone have a lead on CR seats?

Pretty sure you can still order the replacement seat covers from Honda, they're pricey though.

The closest aftermarket material is the Recaro tomcat fabric which is damn near impossible to find now, pretty sure there's knockoffs of the fabric around if you wanted to.

You could try a custom set from leatherseats.com or someone else that does the same thing. I think you can specify a lot of options that may get it close to looking like the real thing.

I'm mostly concerned about grip, not looks. I got a pole position but im so far not that impressed with it as a daily driver seat, specifically getting in and out and the shoulder supports make assessing the shifter more difficult, but driving in the corners I slide too much in the stock seats.

My guess is that if you went with the top of the line leather at leatherseats.com that they may be more "grippy." I would just call them and ask for their advice because they have great technicians. The samples they have sent me seem really nice.

My local dealer wants $1200 for a single CR seat cover.

Leatherseats.com seem pretty upfront that they don't deal in cloth and they're not the right fit for what I'm looking for, they said to check with some local upholsterers. I'll post back with what I find.
