I'm thinking about installing Recaro Pole Position in my car in the future.
Been reading through the threads on this forum about the install, and the choices mentioned are Buddy Club or Bride Seat rails, both of which have their down falls.

Then I saw this and I don't think many people have talked about this one.

edit: Nevermind, Gotuning got back to me and stated those were only designed for JAPANESE Recaro seats.

Is this the one you are referring to?

Do you happen to have this one or have experience with this mount?

I am short, in fact, I like to drive with the seat pretty much all the way forward on the OEM seat...or 2-3 clicks back. OEM seat I think is fine, but I do slide around alot.

Is this mount just bolt in, with no troubles with the pole position seat?

I'm in the process of putting them into my car. I had purchased a pair of Recaro RSG and because I have a 07, I couldn't use the Recaro Japan's rails. GoTuning instead got me what I believe is the Ballade Sports floor rail and sliders to go with PCI side mounts. They had mispackaged the sliders so I'm waiting for the correct one to arrive. The PCI side mounts looks to have a lot of adjustment points, 6 compared to 3 that's on the Recaro Japan's mounts. I can't comment on the height until I put it in. I'm hoping I can get close to the height on the driver side.

This is what I'm waiting to put in. Again, the side mounts are PCI. It's three pieces per side. Scroll through the pics and you'll see that it's not connected on the bottom.

Let me know if ballade is a hood fit. Im not looking to go low, i prefer oem height with at least oem forward backward adjustment

The reason to go with the combination of ballade sports floor mount, rails and PCI side mounts was out of recommendation from GoTuning. According to them, it is the only way I can run stock seat belts on the passenger side in a 07.

I am about 5'7"-5'8", the Recaro Japan rails sit like stock. I'll let you know how this sits once I get it installed.

do pole positions with recaro japan rails sit lower than stock? finding it hard to gather a definite answer. some say higher some say the same :/

What about Nagisa seat rails? That's what I plan to go with in the future.

I used the Recaro Japan Seat Rails in my car to fit the EP3 Recaro seats in. You can see how they designed the passenger slider bar so that it could still slide the seat with the hump in the floor.
