ive been trying to restore my interior with all new parts fork the dealer that has been scuffed up before. The number one is thing that gets scuffed up is the door sills but it shows that both 00-01 and 02-05 driver side black door sills have been discontinued. Surprisingly these two parts had different part numbers but I've confirmed that they fit. Now my question is does 06-09 fit as well? Can anyone here confirm this and if it doesn't can it be modified to do so? I am trying to make my interior like new. Any feedback would help

I know for sure that the AP2 panels do NOT fit on Ap1 cars. one of the previous owners of my car tried replacing the scuff plate as well as the panel behind it and none of it fit properly.

Are you talking about all rear panels from the back? I bought from a cr so I hope you're wrong. Gonna go check it out now. As for the door sills I heard it doesn't but then again I just checked part numbers and driver side is the same part from 02-09. I'm guessing it says different part numbers but compatible just like how 00-03 can use 04-05 valve covers without modifications

When I had my AP1 ('02), I replaced the door sills with better condition ones from an AP2, and I do remember they snapped in just fine with no fuss. If I remember right, the only difference is the placard writing font is a little different on the AP2 than the AP1.
I can't remember if the door sills were pulled from an earlier model AP2 or later model as it's been 5 years since I owned it. I would imagine they are the same, though.
