I just slide the latch to the top of the seat against the guide and point the black part downwards, no noise.

Just keep the belt buckled and you won't have any noise.

I am not sure if my squeak was the same as yours. I used to get a squeak noise of the driver side seat belt rubbing on the leather seat, I unbolted the two screws that hold the plastic belt holder and placed a small piece of neoprene under the belt holder and then reattached the belt holder on the seat. The neoprene between the belt and the leather seat prevented the squeak, if this is your issue then try my fix as it works and reduces rubbing on the seat. For the neoprene I bought one of those bear bottle thermo holders and cut it up into pieces, used solid black so it wasn't noticeable, cheap easy fix.

Felt works too.

I put one of those seat belt shoulder pads on. If I slide the pad all the way up, the noise goes away. I didn't like the idea of sticking things on the seat.

My guess is that only people of a certain height and shorter experience this noise. If you sit tall enough that the seatbelt is raised up off of the leather seat when stretched over your shoulder then this probably is not an issue.
