Is this small seat tear repairable?
Don't mind the dirty seats, been cruising with the top down. So when I bought this car the seats seemed a little dried out, I conditioned them a bunch but a simple backpack on my passenger seat still ripped it :pullhair:. I am no expert but this seems to be a self DIY repair to at least make sure the tear doesn't spread any larger then it already is when a passenger sits on it.
I did some searching but didn't find anything solid on how to repair this. I am thinking if I take the seat cover off (how hard is this to do and fit back on nicely?) and then use some kind of leather patch and glue or liquid patch on the bottom side to make sure it doesn't spread any larger would be good enough with me for now since it is the perforated bit. Is this what you would do? and what product would you use? Thanks |

Wouldn't let me edit the image but I made it smaller and highlighted the tear |
Any luck with fixing that seat? Do you have any update? I have a very similar problem with my seat and I am curious how to manage it.
