Default Specs on FD2 Shift knob, Would like to countersink

I am looking into getting an FD2 Type R shift knob. For those unfamiliar, it is very similar to the S2000 CR Shift knob, the most obvious being the yellow paint in the shift pattern, instead of the red.

S2000 CR knob on the left FD2 Type r knob on the right.

I currently have a Voodoo shift knob that is countersunk. I really like how low it is and the round shape of the knob. Does anyone have an FD2 type r shift knob they can get a measurement of how tall the knob is, and how deep the threads go into the knob? If there is more room to drill within the knob, I will drill it further to lower it(countersink) to help match the height of my Voodoo knob. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well, I could not find any info that I was looking for regarding the FD2 shift knob. However, I did find the "Ultimate Edition S2000" from the UK has the same shift knob as the CR, except with red lettering.

This shift knob can be ordered through a US Honda dealer. I ordered mine and it took less than a week to get.

Shift Knob Part Number: 54102-S2A-E00
Leather shift boot with red stitching: 83414-S2A-J51ZB

Consider yourself lucky that you didn't get the FD2 knob -- there's a lip at the bottom that prevents it from sitting flush with a locking nut.

Thanks, I was wondering what that lip was for! I ordered it through my local Honda dealership. With the part number I have listed in the second post, this is the only knob you will get. I really didn't think I could even order it since it was a UK model.

I personally like Power Shift 580g on my s2000
It has a countersink that hide the shift boot collar, but I did a little trick under the shift boot the zip it it
