Default US car JDM in dash navigation questions

i saw this on the asm blog and other JDM s2000's

i have seen a couple members also do the similar setup on US cars using the JDM bezel

what is exactly involved in setting up a US dash with the JDM bezel to get it to look flush? i understand you have to cut your dash but is there anything else involved in brackets or stuff of that nature to make it work? could owners that have done this successfully chime in on some wisdom?

lol i have a suzuka dash and i dont think i have a high margin of error

thanks again

You might want to take a look in the dash cutters thread and also post there for more info. These guys have pretty much implemented every variation of the in-dash LCD possible.

Pwjd sells the bezel for like 80 bucks so of can have a navi installed. But then you'll have too cut a hole in the dash to fit it in.

The OEM JDM bezel sold by retailers will need to be shaped with a heat gun since they are only made for RHD models.

A guy down in florida did a bunch of really nice in dash installs for a bunch of people. Really wish I had him do mine when I lived down there. Looks by far the best I have seen. Actually looked oem.
