which vinyl top glue is best?

looking to patch a couple pin hole sized holes/thin spots in my vinyl top. I had a patch kit with vinyl glue which seemed like some cheap rubber cement. Looking for more of a fused chemical bond. I thought there was products out there that actually fuse the vinyl together, thanks.

E6000 Adhesive is the benchmark. It is a flexible hobby adhesive which is impervious to everything. Not sure about "fused chemical bond" but it is tough stuff.

Where is the best place to purchase?

I just got some of this stuff from Cabriodoc on ebay: Cabriodoc Convertible Soft Top Repair - BLACK Cloth Fabric Vinyl for all Brands | eBay

The repair is awesome and much better than E6000 for the exterior surface.

I did use E6000 to bond on the patches I installed on the interior side though.

Followup. I would recommend against using E6000 adhesive to bond anything. I used it to glue in some patches/doublers at the common rub points behind the passenger and driver's heads and it lasted about 4 months and then failed. The adhesive is not up to the task of the roof folding and the shear between the patch and the roof causes the glue to fail. My patches just peeled off. :(

for the past 5 years, black silicone adhesive found at the auto zone etc. has held my patches on without issue. I used old OEM top material. These patches were applied to the material side of the patch and the roof. I used them on small splits in the material, but my areas are not rubbed by the top frame in any place.

good luck

Just ordered a tube to try and get ahead of the tiny pinhole i have right behind the driver's side top latch.
I like that it is a liquid vinyl that says it actually bonds with the existing material. Thanks for the recommendation.
I'll post my results.
