After just being up there a couple of weeks ago for the Fall Event. Looking to see if any of you are thinking about checking this event out. If I do go it will be a short trip. Post up if there is interest. Included the link to their website.

It's tempting except I was just there 10 days ago and I'll be there next weekend too. I'll see how I feel when I get home from the next trip.

 

Doubtful. One week after Gettysburg would make for a really busy start to the month.

 

My dad had such a great time last year that he is coming in again for CHD8. Staying at Fontana Village again - maybe we will see some of you there.

Chris when are you arriving at Fontana? Should be there late Friday afternoon.

 

I may come up just for Sunday if I don’t have too many obligations stacked up by then. That would be a fun day out. Last year’s CHD7 was a blast! I’m sure this one will be just as sweet.

 

To be determined although I figure sometime in afternoon on Friday as well. Would like to go to Tapoco for dinner but sounds like they are going to be pretty full from what they’ve said on CHD group (they are having a pre-meet Friday evening on the NC side of dragon in Bryson city. They were trying to get a group together for dinner at Tapoco and I mentioned we had a 2 hour wait a couple weeks ago - they checked and there is some water release the same weekend so apparently a lot of people going to be there.

 

Unfortunately I have to back out of this one. Family issues are more important that car events. I did cancel my reservations with Fontana so. Willow one bedroom cabin is available. Enjoy the event people.
