S2000 Days '0X in Las Vegas?
Well, Fisch, I hope you are kidding...I can't quite tell. You hid it well. If you are not kidding, it's exactly an attitude like that which I can do without at ANY event...be it Asheville, Vegas, the Vatican or Laos.
Please, how about a little civility...it's not a difficult thing, really...give it a shot!

Just some comments from 'way over in the Northwest!
Last March, 10 of us gathered in Palm Springs for a very informal "meet". No one expected anything except to look at each others rides, have a cup of coffee (which turned into lunch) and head back home, doing what we probably came for in the first place, that is a little comaradarie and driving our cars (I couldn't even boast that, as mine was still on order at the time). But I'm digressing...
I guess my point is, have as many meets where you want and when you want as possible. I really hope the NC "national" meet is a huge success. Shelley, Greg et al have worked really hard getting everything happening on the other board and deserve the best.
However, those who want to do a Vegas meet shouldn't be chastized for wanting to do it in the same year, as many from the west probably can't work out the time, etc. to go back east, including myself. I'm not even sure I can make a Vegas, unless it was held at the right time of year (2 long days drive). But go for the Vegas meet too!
I would like to have a local meet in So British Columbia too, at some point although as travel distance increases, there will be less likelihood of cars coming. But there are great twisties to drive, the wine is world class (weather too in summer), and the CDN $ is a steal for you south of the border.
Now there is the Gold Wing Road Rider's Assoc that is huge and popular, as some may know, that meets one year in the central east, then every other year in the west. It seems to do well, regardless. It has become much more that just an annual meet. It is a bout cooperation and for the fun of it.
I hope that everyone will treat each other with respect when it comes to our passion as well. Let's enjoy it all!
