04-07 Taillight to 00-03 model

Does anyone knows the 04-07 harness wires for the tail light is necessary when you fit a 04-07 tail light onto 99-03 model ?
and 04-07 harness wires will make the jobs more easyer ?
Is there all the wires (99-03 to 04-07) are the some except connectors and plugs ? I was thanking about get some cutted 04-07 harness wires with plugs to connect the 04-07 tail light and the 99-03 wires

Any idea or suggestions ?

All you need are the connectors, wiring are the same except you'll have to put the last (forth/corner) bulb/connector to the side as it's not required on the AP2 taillights. If I remember correctly, I also think that the brake light bulb for the AP1 fits right into the signal socket bulb of the AP2 harness.
