Default 3M Spoiler removal

Hi I bought a spoiler on ebay and it came with 3M tape. Its kinda not centered on the trunk lid. Whats a easy way to remove it?

Fishing line works best but you can also use dental floss. Neither one will scratch the paint.

Just take a couple feet of either one and wrap each end around your hands and "saw" thru the tape. Then remove any tape residue by warming it up with a hair dryer and "rolling"it up.

Fish line first followed by 3M adhesive remover. Summit Racing has it.....

I prefer to use that for leftover tapes then heating them with a hair dryer.

be careful if you use the fishing line, i accidentally made some marks on my tail light doing it that way. also you will need a pretty strong line, when it heats up it tends to break

Once you get the spoiler off, WD40 and using a creditcard to "saw" through the residue works A+++ it's what I did with my fender emblems.

A little heat and some floss should do it. Goof-off to remove any leftover residue.
