Good stuff...motor mounts were one of my first mods on several other cars of mine. I have often thought about stiffer mounts for the S2000. I can search, but is the install a PITA?

Would also like more opinions on the stiffness - I don't want it too harsh, and my car is not tracked regularly. Overkill on a street car?

I have the 60As, they vibrate a bit at idle. I personally wouldn't want any more vibrations in a street car. I got mine from swap shop racing, they have great customer service and good pricing.

keep in mind its not about how much you track your car when determining how hard of urethane to buy, but how much time you spend in the car off the track.

personally i would never go stiffer than 75 all the way around. butid also be more inclined to go softer on the diff to help reduce chances of my pinion gear walking up the ring gear and exploding.

I'd like to keep it relatively sociable in reference to day to day as I do about 12,000 miles a year in the car. Based on other comments the 60a's sound lie what I want. Is that just for the engine and if so what do I want for the gearbox and diff ?

The innovative set comes with two motor mounts and one transmission mount. No diff mount is included. I'm running the stock diff mounts with the 85 innovative set.

I'm pretty tolerable when it comes to creature comforts. With that said, I think the 85a's would be too stiff for the majority of street driven s2000's as they create quite a bit of noise and vibration into the cabin, especially at freeway speeds. My friends say it's like riding in one of those massaging chairs. They do, however, make the car feel more connected. After my tune (i/h/e), the torque peak around 3k was more pronounced and demanding where you can really appreciate the mounts ability to transfer power instead of feeling a delay.

Along with the engine/tranny mounts, I recommend an upgraded head unit if you haven't already

I had this brand on my RSX and the big thing was how after some driving the vibration toned itself down somewhat. Do the mounts on the S2k do the same thing, or does the vibration never really change over time?
