For me, they fit perfectly, look good, and they seem very sturdy.
I am having one (small) issue with them though: the quick release mechanism keeps working itself loose over time (1-3 weeks or so) and the top starts clunking around against the chassis. Then I tighten them back up with force and they are good for some time again.

Can you use LocTite? That usually works for me.

I thought loctite was for threaded applications only?

I was part of the first batch of these made about 4 or 5 years ago. I love mine. Never an issue, not even once.

They are identical to OEM so much that me and a friend with an OEM top and OEM brackets could swap tops whenever we wanted (mix matching our hardware)

I do know they have updated their design over the years to clear roll balls better.

I bought a set when they made a batch a couple of years ago, never had an issue with them. I've had three different hardtops and they all fit great with the forbidden mounts.
