Default Anyone thought of cutting ap2 bumper to look like asm bumper?

AnyOne thought about cutting the rear bumpers?

I like the aggressiveness of the asm and if I can cut my ap2 bumper it might look good. Or maybe cut it a tad less

Ray aka s-factor does this. Check the metro section and look at the vented hood club thread. Does it in his driveway. Hes a dremel god

Most are ap1 bumpers. Not too many ap2 cuts

I was thinking of something different but I think this looks pretty good

This Pshop looks good but honestly the real thing won't look nearly as good because you won't have the same depth that the asm bumper has in the cut outs. It'll end up being a very 2D cut and IMO will look very DIY. But I could be wrong...

I think you are 100% correct.
In the PS image [which does look very good BTW] the bumper is "folded" in around the mesh which gives it a factory look. I doubt just cutting the bumper would look that good.

^agreed. Even though the shop looks okay. I think the stock oem picture you posted is the best one on the page. But thats just me being partial to oem.
