I went through a similar thing, I ended up buying a whole cluster and swapping the glass. sold the broken glass. Took a loss but was worth it for something in my direct view

Unless there’s a place with a quantity on their shelves it’s not happening. I tried ordering from a supplier in Japan & Europe using their part number; no dice. Also the USDM part number is sold out as well (won’t even show up on JDM/Euro part sites).

Concerning other parts I have found that Japan and Europe are still both able to source stuff that shows as discontinued in the US. In my case the passenger panel under the dash that everyone seems to break....I broke mine. Hardtopguy can no longer get it saying only the black one can be had now. Got it from Japan no problem.

Concerning the cluster glass though....I scour eBay daily hoping one might pop up using both part number and description. I use UK eBay as well for this. Or I’ll just cave and buy another cluster eventually. Hoping a broken cluster for parts comes up on the cheap...otherwise it’s going to be $250 minimum unless you get a good deal

I'm installing mine at some point, as the original one has developed many little cracks (scratches) for some reason. I'll check with the dealership I got mine from and see if they can source any more.

I got it at my local dealer in Nova Scotia. It has probably been a couple of years ago, as time goes so fast. I'll check with them the next time I'm in, and report back. I would also suggest checking with a source in Japan if all else fails, like Marc at the S2000 Shop.

If you find a source, please post up. Mine recently started cracking. Sad to see they're not readily available anymore. Also, anyone have a cause or fix to prevent on new glass?

As far as I can tell it’s actually plastic. Believe me I’m searching in earnest all around the globe....It really seems like they’re unobtanium at this point. My best guess would be to use a sun shade and keep temps down inside of the cabin. Shit happens after nearly 2 decades with plastics in a car that’s been driven unfortunately. Really don’t wanna have to buy a used cluster for a tiny crack...Although id imagine I can get most of my money back after swapping the faces; I’m sure there’s someone less anal out there.
