Factory headlights are VERY expensive if you want OEM. No offense but I very much agree with going back to stock.
Check out S2000.club [Your Honda S2000 Resource] There are a few articles in the Exterior section (remove headlights) that show you what should be needed. The front bumper has to come off so you may already be out of your comfort zone but I am pretty sure the aftermarket lights use the same mounts as stock. The hardest part is getting to them.
As an update, I shelled out the money to get a new pair from hondapartsnow.com. It was ~$450 each, so I'm out $900 off the bat to satisfy my superficial desires smh. The auto shop I contacted said it'll be about $400 to install, with a couple of hours of labor plus they would need to aim them. They have a lot of experience with S2K's and have already done previous work for me to get the car back into shape after I purchased it.
I'm in process of moving from apt to townhouse with garage, and I work about 60-70 hours a week so I think I'm going to "give" in and just have them take care of the replacement, even though it really feels like a lot of money for the job. If I was to do it myself, I'd probably end up with a cross-eyed S2K anyway!
I have more plans for the car, mostly rehabilitation. So stay tuned for the next thread and I'll post the update once I get the lights swapped (in a couple weeks) on this thread!

I don't see anything superficial about it! These headlights provide an inferior beam pattern. Plus they look dorky, all chrome like that. If nothing else it's a safety issue, especially if you couldn't get them aimed right (like I can't)!
I would like to say your skills are higher than usual. It may be a 30-40 minutes job (holy damn!), but to the casual weekend home mechanic, I'm not surprise if this takes an entire afternoon.

Maybe, but we are talking about the time needed for a professional mechanic to do the work.
Well folks, I finally got the headlights installed. I ended up going with Wrench.com, who sent a mechanic to my home to install at less than half the price that I was quoted at other shops. Only problem was the previous owner (or his/her mechanic) had done some botchy work installing the aftermarket headlights, so I ended up needing a couple of other smaller, less expensive parts (covers, clips, etc.) but ultimately got the job done and I'm pretty happy with the OEM look. Now, I have a few more issues to tackle that I'll probably post in other threads, as I'll need some advice/opinions...
