Default AP2 Bumper and Lip on AP1

Well I just got a used AP2 bumper with oem front lip in but decided to keep the oem splash guards. Everything on top bolts in as normal, on the bottom of the bumper only 2 holes lined up with my ap1 splash guards. The rest I just zip tied. This held well enough.

The thing that concerns me is the OEM AP2 Lip, the only thing holding it to the bumper are the 2 screws on each far side near the wheel. The holes on the bottom of the lip designed to attach through the ap2 bumper and splash guards I can not figure a way to attach. I think it should be OK, but I'm worried.

Any ideas? I was thinking maybe drilling holes in the splash guards to line up the holes on the lip.

Hmm the lip should be bolted to the bumper by brackets and have additional holes that was supposed to line up to the splash guard which I believe 2 of the holes out of the three on the front should line up. As long as your lip is mounted to bumper that's te most important
