Ballade Ultra Low Seat Rail
I recently purchased had installed the Ballade Ultra Low Seat Rail with a Recaro Pole Position seat and Schroth 6-point harness. I installed this after having their roll bar installed and driving with the stock seats for about two months. As a system, it works so well I sent the following note to Alex, the guy who runs Ballade Sports.
Hey Alex,
I just wanted to let you know that I am enjoying the seat and seat rail quite a bit. As an endorsement, I would go as far to say that if anyone is going to install a roll-bar into their S2K, they should only do it if they plan to install a race seat as well, especially if they are taller. In fact, I have more leg room now than I did when the car was stock. Neither the steering wheel nor the Recaro seat bolsters pose much of a problem for me getting in an out of the car (although, yes, it is slightly more difficult than with a stock seat).
Thanks,
Michael

ive been eyeing this seat rail...i currently have the buddy club rails and they're a PITA to adjust/fit. Ive heard overall better results with this seat rail. How was fit and finish for you? how are the sliders? I might make the switch here very soon.
