Thanks for the info. Pardon my ignorance, but with berk only offering 63.5 and 70, where could I find a 60 mm test pipe?

I just checked google and see that Invidia makes a 60mm TP that seems pretty popular on this site. Any comment on how Invidia compares to Berk? Would a different brands really make that much a difference?

The Berk 63.5mm will work fine. That is what I bought and my exhaust piping is the exact same as yours

There's probably little to no difference on the different test pipes out there...correct me if I'm wrong. Choose the same size diameter as your exhaust and your good to go!

I have tested a Tanabe Concept-G exhaust with the following

- Stock Cat
- Berk HFC (63,5)
- HJS HFC -> http://www.hjsna.com/products/HJS-Hi...9095-0080.html
- Test-Pipe -> https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/922...-mot-friendly/

With the stock cat you have an annoying drone at around 3000rpm (F20c).. that makes you want to push the car harder in order to get rid of the drone

HFC will increase the sound slightly, but with less drone. With the HFCs the drone is not a problem anymore.

I have had bad experiences with the Berk HFC, I know this HFC is very appreciated over here, but it doesn't work for me. Ok, it's cheap but the core is *way* too small (that's why it's cheap). This HFC is not able to push out all the amount of gases this engine produces. I *had to* change it because I was having serious heat problems with it. I had a Innovate wideband at the header and it often shut down because of the heat, that sucked BIG TIME since my eManage was setup to use the wideband feedback in Open Loop..

I think my normal driving is a little more pushy than the normal usage in the US.. I used to push the car over 200km/h continuously for more than one hour.. that was too much for this tiny cat.

Then I switched to the HJS and my overheat problems went away.. the core is bigger than the Berk, but was still 200cpsi and two times shorter than the stock one.. sound was comparable to the Berk. Additionally, The HJS is "legal" in Europe, it comes with a Euro homologation that can be more or less easily transferred to the S2000.

Now I have a 2,5" Testpipe (doesn't matter which one you use, it's just a pipe)

In low rpm's (closed loop) is sounds very much like with the HFCs, in open loop (and VTEC) it (literally) screams.
