Default Buying Parts from Japan on jauce

Anyone in the US have a way to buy stuff off of jauce.com (Yahoo Japan AUction CEnter)? We have seen stuff from time to time we want to bid on. But they almost always say they don't sell to the US. Is that an export/import restriction issue? We did find a place in Texas that will help. But it was very unclear how much they would charge and what shipping costs would really be.

interesting as here in Canada, an acquaintance has used it numerous times. No help for you, however.

On thinking about it, most of the stuff we have looked at have been bigger - like front bumpers or Mugen seats. I just went and checked on the part we want and it says "Sale blocked because part cannot be shipped internationally."

Maybe that's the issue. But I don't know why it can't be shipped internationally - or is it the seller just doesn't want to bother?

Bidjdm is one I have used. Jesse Steeter is another one. On the few things I have purchased the end price of what I originally thought was a great deal wound up not saving me much over ordering it through Gotuning. If it is a rare discontinued part then it is a different story but always look into the total cost. Jesse can also buy directly from companies over there and the prices he has quoted me have been pretty damn good.

Jesse Steeter is one of the most common names you will come across.
When i was looking for parts, it was the one name that alot of guys here in LA recommended. He has a solid base, and his prices are fair, and upfront.

He will help you and walk you through the process. check out his website, he even has a tab at the top that covers yahoo japan orders.

I just emailed with Jesse. Thanks for the reference! He seems like definitely the way to go. Unfortunately, the pricing for shipping larger items is super high. So hopefully we'll find that Mugen half lip much closer to home!
