Default Carbon rock/mud guard - Review

This is my review of some carbon rock guards I purchased from eBay. I am not affiliated with the seller and I paid full price for my set. I am just a regular member that want to share my experience with this product since I have always been interested in a set of these.

I opted for the matte finish. The seller has matte and glossy finishes as options. They ship with double sided tape and are designed to use the existing screws to mount them. Two screws for the front and one in the rear. Only issue I can see with the mounting design is that the slots for the screws are a little big, so using some washers would give it a more secure mount. The backside is coated with undercoating type material. If you have an offset #2 phillips screw driver, you can installed these easily without removing your wheels.

Onto the installed pictures!

Edit*3/23 - I forgot to mention when I ordered it from him, I asked to have the mounting holes slotted so I can adjust how far it sticks out to my liking.

These are a bit too subtle for my taste, I wouldn't be able to tell if I wasn't looking for these, maybe the glossy finish will give it some more pop at least as a contrast to your body paint color.

I am sure I saw these on one of the FB pages, not sure if they are from the same seller.

Yes the matte finish makes it subtle which is what I like. I had to use the flash to be able to see it in pics. Glossy finish definitely has more pop if that's what you like.

i was about to get these a few months ago, after seeing them on Instagram. the seller/manufacturer is a good guy. i wasn't expecting them to be over $100, but like he explained to me, despite their simple design, he's put some thought and effort into making them.

ultimately, i reconsidered because i already have side diffusers and front lip splitter/protector and a rear diffuser, so i have quite a few add-ons already. think the car would be too busy w/these too. look good on your ride though, Mike.

Rear mudguards are nice to have, those ones seem to be a bit too narrow, they don't go inwards far enough.

On a sidenote Bama Dave has a group buy going on at s2kca.com for a good price (fronts only), I ordered a couple pairs. Bama Dave is also a member here. Nice deal. Here's the link:
