$1299 doesn't include pads it seems. Comes with SS lines which could be sold I guess to offset some cost.

The kit they sell is a complete bolt on kit. The caliper by itself is not.

^What he said. Additionally, I've seen stoptech BBK with one piece rotors advertised for 1300 . Also, the pads for Stoptech will be cheaper than the brembos. With two pad changes, you've lost most of your money savings over the stoptech.

More importantly, is the brake bias maintained?

Would be interesting to see the modifications done to the caliper and how much structural integrity is lost.
Discs size on this setup is 330mm but only 25mm thick, on the CTR these calipers use a 350x32mm disc.
Maybe it's good they are a bit thin though as the whole setup still probably is much heavier than stock.
To bad Ballade are still banned here otherwise they might got us some answers

Judging by the fitment from that one picture that you cant see that well... these look like they could be slightly more aggressive than the Stoptech kits. That being said the 9 +45 RPF1 doesn't have enough clearance for basically anything, there is no way it's going to fit this.

Any thoughts on how the rear brakes should be upgraded to address the change in brake bias?

That's 10% more piston area than stock caliper.

I emailed them to get some clarification. I don't think they would mind me sharing their reply:

Each piston is 40mm in diameter. Rotor thickness is 25mm.

Replacement rotors are $300 a pair.

These are direct bolt on to the Knuckle/hub. No brackets required. Both calipers and rotors are direct fit.

I started a thread here about how bias changes for this and other brake mods.
