Default clutch install questions

Ok so please don't bash me I'm quite confused and worried here.... did a clutch install on my 05 ap2. Resurfaced flywheel. Did 500 mile break in and now when I'm sitting at a stop light or in my driveway and when the car is under load I.e. over 5700rpms the clutch appears to not be engaging fully or something. Please help. What did I do wrong or what could be going on in there?

What do you mean by "not engaging fully"? Is it slipping? Is it hard to get the car into gear from a stop? Need more info.

Car is difficult to get into gear from a stop and when under load. Clutch isn't slipping, it grabs but it feels like its very difficult to get into gear.

The clutch isn't disengaging completely, check fluid level and bleed the line.

Fluid looks full in the reservoir....... so should I just do a full bleed and see how it goes?

That would be my next step. If there is air in the line, the slave cylinder won't be able to have enough throw to completely disengage the clutch. Check for signs of fluid leaks while you're under there.

I've only seen bent fingers on pressure plates twice in my lifetime, but I've seen the hydraulic part of a clutch setup fail / leak / etc OFTEN!

You should be fine.

Thank you....... I'm really hoping its as simple as bleeding the system. If air is the problem I'm going to flip lol. I could only be so lucky

How is the clutch pedal? is it stiff? does it go limp? do you have to work the pedal to get it to stiffen up to get it to go in to gear
