Default CR Steering Rack Stiffener Alternatives

Is there an alternative to the CR steering rack stiffener? Is it even worth getting? My '06 has a CR steering rack w/o the stiffeners and Im thinking of putting them in. Any help is appreciated!

If you search you will find that this topic has been discussed a number of times in the past. It turns out there is little to no benefit. Some people claim (mostly AP1 owners) that they feel a slight different, but most indicate that they don't feel a difference at all.

Oops I must have missed it. All the posts I saw was for ap2 (non cr) racks w/ the stiffeners. I guess I'll just put them on & find out. Thanks.

What was necessary to fit the car with the CR rack? Is it a very noticeable difference in ratio?

I've driven a cr (same as ap1) and my ap2 back to back at an autox. I noticed a difference right away. However, I didn't drive my car for months before putting the rack in. Now I can't tell. Lol

The CR stiffener is not a bushing or bushing kit. It's a Bar that goes across the gap in the steering rack mount. It connects similiar to how a strut tower bar connects two shock towers, except it's the two spaces on the steering rack. The Steering rack bushings are for improved steering feel/feedback but don't offer anything else.

It's a $23 part from Honda. The ASM bar and S2X bars look like they tie into the steering rack as well. So the S2X bar is a tower bar and steering stiffener in one.
