Default Crooked Exhaust. HELP!

Hello all, I have an 02 S2k and I recently installed an Espiler Catback dual exhaust system and it is crooked to the eye, it seems as if one of the mufflers sticks out further than the other. When I isntalled the exhaust I made my own "test pipe" with a bung for the o2 sensor and everything. One thing I noticed as I was researching was that the aftermarket test pipe seems to have a slight bend in it. When I made my test pipe I didn't include this. Could this be my problem or is it maybe a hanger somewhere? Any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks

its common for many aftermarket dual exhaust systems to not "hand" perfectly with the other tip. there is room for adjustment and you can play around with the hangers.

I know it won't be perfect, but mine is pretty substantial. Any other suggestions?

The best way to fab a custom exhaust is to work from the tips forward finishing with the final welds at the header flange. The small misalignment due to the lack of bend in your test pipe is exaggerated at the muffler tips.

Also try loosening up all the bolts that hold the pieces together and wiggle it around, you should have a little movement in the joints... then re-tighten it up.

There is a bend in aftermarket test pipes for this reason. You can pick one up for $70 in the for sales forum.
