Dealer Optioned Alarm Brain Location?
 

Anyone know where the standard install point is for the dealer option alarm "brain"? The dealer installed an Automate AM1 on my car. I want to get a bit writer and program it myself rather than paying an installer, but I need to find the brain location to get the serial number first.

For those who may wonder why, it's got passive arming set and the SOB automatically locks the doors in 30 seconds.

Check under drivers seat.

Not under the driver's seat or under the dash on the driver's side.

Under the driver seat is where the dealer installed alarm goes.

Sorry, I responded on my phone and I cut out some words. Mine was not installed there. I put on a BYS seat rail so I've had the seat out of the car.

Following up to close this thread. My dealer installed alarm was installed up under the steering column. It wasn't a Honda brand but it was installed by a Honda dealer, which is what confused me. This youtube video shows exactly how to remove one of these:
