Since you are discussing more function over form, I would suggest you go to an HPDE track event with an instructor and learn how your car handles at speed (oversteer, understeer, etc). From there you can determine the need for aerodynamic improvements.

You haven't mentioned the current setup of the car and handling characteristics. Still stock? STR/square tires? Are you building to a certain race spec, or generically for HPDE's?

surely diffusers are a total waste of money on road cars

What is that commercial chevy is running on speedtv they are running for their "ZM1" Camaro or something?

"what makes a Zb1 different?"

"an extractor"


Yea! a few strakes out the backend of this 5000lbs lump of crap and suddenly its a "track car"

maybe a device to extract more money from people!
