Default DIY Fender Brace Install

Sorry no pics, created this after creating the original review thread:
https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/884...is-stiffening/

If you want to dispute the value of these please do it in the review thread and not this DIY, Thanks!

Directions are in Japanese but it was straight forward enough that they weren't really needed

Installation of Nagisa 3pt Fender Braces
Installation time 2.5hrs
Difficulty 3 out of 10, more time consuming then difficult.

Tools:
10mm open end (ratcheting is helpful)
10mm Socket
13mm Socket
19mm Socket
3" extension
6" extension
Regular screw driver
#2 Phillips screwdriver
6mm Allen Key
Drill
Assortment of drill bits
Needle nose pliers
Male spade connectors
3/16" Tube splice
Jack and jack stands
3m Painter's tape
Sharpie marker
2 6mmX20mm bolts, with washers and lock washer

Prep
Get the car up on stands
Open hood
Mark a few points along the fender with the Sharpie to help with re-installation of the fender.
Remove the front tires
Tape along the door and fender edge
Tape along the fender and door edge, fender and hood, fender and bumper (this helps protect the paint during removal and installation of the fender)
Remove the side markers from the fender

Drivers side:
Remove the 5, 10mm bolts from the front bumper under tray
Remove the dozen clips holding the fender liner in the wheel well (some are hidden), flat head screwdriver and needle nose help with this
Remove 2, #2 Phillips from fender liner
Remove fender liner from car
Remove 3, 10mm bolts from the bottom of the fender (directly under where side marker mounts)
Open door, using 9" of extension remove 10mm at bottom of fender
Using 10mm open end (ratchet one is handy here!) remove 10mm bolt at top of fender
Remove 10mm bolt mounting bumper to fender (this screw is pointing up near outed edge of bumper
Remove the 10mm bolt mounting the small section of the bumper to the fender (this screw is on it side coming from the rad support into the fender under the hood)
Using the 10mm open end remove the 2, 10mm bolts mounting the headlight to the fender
Remove the 5, 10mm bolts along the fender under the hood
If you got all the bolts the fender will lift right off now, remove fender from the car
Remove 2, 10mm bolts holding the power module (black box under the fender) you don't have to remove it from the car
Unclip the cable from fender
Remove the lower 2, 13mm bolts, and the lower bolt of the upper door mount.
Install brace and attach to door mounts using the 13mm bolts loosely (cable should run under brace)
Align front of brace to existing hole in frame rail and tighten down at door mounts
Drill out second mount hole (I don't recall the size maybe 1/4" or 7/16")
Lace in nut plate through large fender hole
Attach using the supplied 6mm allen key hardware and tighten
Install the 1, 10mm bolt in the hole nearest the door and tighten down
Remount power module using the remaining 10mm bolt into fender brace and frame rail (fender will fit over it)
Open and close door, if door is hitting the latch, loosen the lower door mounts and pick up on the door (at latch) and retighten, check door shut, adjust until ok,
Lace side marker through fender brace
Re-install fender in the reverse order, the tough part maybe getting the headlight mount in between the bumper and headlight, this is why you tape the fender because it is easy to bang it against the door.

Passenger side
Follow the instruction from the drivers side for removing the fender
remove the 1, 10mm bold holding the washer bottle neck (under hood near battery0
Remove the 10mm bolt holding the washer bottle in
Remove power lead from washer pump
Remove washer fluid line from pump
Lace the power lead and fluid line into the engine compartment

Remove the lower 2, 13mm bolts, and the lower bolt of the upper door mount.
Install brace and attach to door mounts using the 13mm bolts loosely (cable should run under brace)
Align front of brace to existing hole in frame rail and tighten down at door mounts
Drill out second mount hole (I don't recall the size maybe 1/4" or 7/16")
Lace in nut plate through large fender hole
Attach using the supplied 6mm allen key hardware and tighten
Drill out the middle mounts ( I just used the same one I used for the upper fender brace mount)
Reach down between the battery and frame rail and install bolt (or nuts) into fender brace and tighten down

Washer bottle
Remove the middle 10mm fender bolt
Remove the first 10mm bolt near the fender brace (last one from the front of car)
Hang bag on mount and bolt mount to fender, re-installing the 10mm fender bolts
Route the wiring and tubing to your liking over to where the stock power and fluid line comes though fender
Install male spade connectors onto the washer pump power line and install into factory connector (this lets you keep the stock wiring intact incase you reverse the install) don't worry about which line goes to which on the harness
Don't connect the fluid line yet
Add some fluid to the bag
Carefully suck some fluid through the fluid line, the pump seems to not be self priming so you need to draw fluid thought it first (I figured this out on my own )
Connect the fluid line to the stock fluid line using the 3/16" splice.
Give the windshield wash a pull, if no water sprays on the windshield swap the connection either at the bag or the stock connector and try again. If still nothing make sure at the bag that both lines coming out of the bag both have fluid, if not suck some through again.

Now hurry up and get the wheels back on, tape off the car and the car on the ground! Go for a spin and enjoy the new feeling coming from the front end! I would recommend having the alignment checked after this install, although you did not touch any suspension the frame rails will act different and could affect it.

That's it! If I missed anything feel free to add to this thread!
