I had one of their boots rip on me on a similar setup and they quoted me the same price but sent me 2 and next day shipping. I don't know if it was from wear or a bolt I had flying off. I haven't changed it out because I cannot take the baseplate off for the life me of right now. Probably just transfer the boot over. Anyway they are supposedly the inner joints are for Porsche. Recently I had to remove a DSS axle from my son's 86GT with a boot ripped in just 3 months. It cost us $125 to ship them for warranty repair. We reinstalled the axles back last week and the boot appears to be stronger, but we wont know how long they will last. These 'upgraded' axles were not cheap close $1000 and boot lasting 3 months is really stupid. If was going to buy these for my S2000, I would want them to pay warranty return shipping to them.
Also, the new boot covers look blue as to the black ones they originally came with.
This thread is a few years old, are they upping their game?

I know it's an old thread, but anyone using the DSS 2.9 axles needs to cut DSS out of the loop for anything but major warranty claims after the initial purchase. Aside from the splines, all of the parts for the inboard/outboard joints are Porsche equivalent pieces, of which there are numerous companies out there making quality boots and other replacement parts.
