I have the Skunk2. I really liked the sound until I got a test pipe. Definately has more rasp then I would prefer (although its not so bad with a warm engine). However, using a FlashPro with the test pipe I was able to get some really nice low-mid range gains. I decided the power gain was worth it, and the upper RPM's still sound pretty nice.

Cause I've heard them lol. But it could be you just like that sound. They sound really cheap and ricey to me. Also be ware of them rusting even though they are stainless steel. Definitely cheap but you get what you pay for.

I have a skunk2 exhaust on my car because that was on it when I bought it used. I used to think it was loud, then I decided one day to take out the silencers that came with it. Then I finally understood how loud it could be...

That thing is loud and very deep - it makes my head hurt when I have the top up (rattles the brain more). I don't think it sounds ricey, but it's too loud for my tastes. I put the silencers back in and it sounds nice and quiet, lol (not really).

the skunk2 is also 70mm, I have it on my car. Fit an finish is perfect, and the look with the angled canisters is very aggressive.
