Default emblem identification

so when I purchased my S the previous owner had a red emblem in the back, and a white one up front

I would like to replace the white one up front with a red one, but to my understanding there are a few different red ones out there

I heard the one made for the s2000 is apparently too small for the AP2, or smaller than the AP2 OEM emblem? and that the nsx emblem is the best fit?

the white one that was in the front is from honda so im guessing thats the one people say is too small?
If someone can just confirm that, that would be great, this way I can order the same one, just in red!

I believe so. They are smaller than the giant chrome thing that came stock on the AP2. I don't have a front emblem so I can't be of much help beyond pointing you to those. The main difference between the red emblem in that link and the JDM Type R emblem is the red on the S2000 one matches NFR and the JDM emblem is a darker red. I think this one is larger if that is what you are looking for.

Those red badges from HTG are the OEM JDM S2000 badges. They are New Formula Red and not the darker red that comes on the Type Rs. They fit the S2000 bumpers front and rear, however they are a little bit smaller than the stock badges on the 02-09 cars. Even the OEM USDM 00-01 emblems are smaller than all of the other years.

All you have to do is remove your emblem, use some goo gone to remove any residue, polish away and imperfections that the emblem left on the paint, and replace it with the new red one. The new red one will be the same size as the white one you are removing, assuming the white one is a true S2000 badge. All of the color filled JDM S2000 badges are the same size.

No problem. I just went and check my pile of JDM NFR S2000 emblems (I like to stock up on things) and the number on the back are as follows:

Honda
>ABS<
S2A -1
R:570/3965
A:60

It's the same number as yours other than the -1. I'm assuming that's a color designation as the the tabs on the back of my emblem match yours (these are both front emblems).

Hope this helps!

Edit: Here are the part numbers.

Front: 75701-S2A-000ZE

Rear: 75700-S2A-000ZE
