What's quieter from actual experience: ASM S Special 70mm or T1R-EM 70mm?
#2
I’ve got a T1r -em70 and it’s NOT quiet at almost any rev range, I have an acquaintance with an ASM 70mm and he states it’s very quiet, like close to stock quiet until you get into it.I believe the ASM is quieter based on our independent experiences.

The T1R sounds great.
But its loud and MASSIVELY droney inside the car.
But...after a while you barely notice the migranes or blood pouring out of your ears. Totally "tolerable" like people say. Not even a huge deal.
If you need to ask this question, an exhaust is probably the wrong mod for you. Save that stimmy for something else.

I currently have the original ASM S Special 70mm and stock header and cat. Louder than stock with the same slight drone at certain rpm or load, BUT it is tolerable and doesn't require any use of earplugs. MAYBE earplugs for very long drives. I have driven this setup for a total of 300 miles to and from streets of willow for a track day and was okay with it.
The previous exhaust I owned was the T1R-EM 70mm single. Stock header and cat as well. LOUD AND DRONES A LOT. I could not drive for 5 minutes outside of my driveway. Any lower RPM and load will cause a lot of drone/bellow and my ears were ringing. Even with the soft top down my ears and head were hurting. Picked up the ASM exhaust used soon after.
