An exhaust is an exhaust. Megan racing has terrific welds and use pretty high quality materials. The stainless steel piping used by them is the same grade that a super expensive JDM exhaust uses. 304L. Their mufflers are also top notch and sound terrific. I wouldn't go with an exhaust some local muffler shop made, but anything above a Megan and u're just paying for the name.

Unless you want to pay for the name. BTW is the GReddy slanted? that one looks pretty nice.

Yea I admire their welds. I'm working on perfecting my weld beads right now and it's almost there. If he were any closer I'd make him a custom angled-muffler header-back. Those are always fun to make. They sound soooo nice and if you put a good size resonator on it it's not ear deafening either

If your objective is to be heard, get the Veilside Teardrop exhaust with a test pipe, end of story.

There is none louder! Or lighter.

Local AP1 owner picked up about 14whp with a complete Megan system (h/tp/e).

Anything louder than 100 decibels and your hearing will start to diminish, a word of warning to the novices.
