Default Fender bolt part #

Anyone know the part number for the unpainted bolt on the side fenders? I looked on hondaparts but cant seem to find out what the part number is. These are only unpainted bolts on the side fenders. There is 1 on each fender. Always wondered why these werent painted, strange. My first time owning a s2k.

#13(14pcs), #14 (6pcs), or #15 (18pcs) in brackets is how many of each are one the car. not sure which ones are not painted though.

May not be a "fender" bolt. Maybe a "bumper" bolt? See if your eyes are better visualizing the parts than mine. 31, 28, and, 40 all come in from the top.

I actually think it is the one in front of 28 (not pictured in that diagram). The diagram with the fenders may be the one you need to find. Working forward along the fender, when you get to the ones that go through the core support, the first is painted, the 2nd one is not on mine at least. That is the one you are looking for I think?

But, just take one of the painted ones and try screwing it in there. I bet you it is the same exact bolt. So you can just order one of those.

Ok so I looked at mine for you. They will interchange, but that bolt, unlike the others is not a flange bolt. It is a bolt with washer. It is also appears to have Darco coating. The other types are a zinc looking coating. So you are looking for one of the bolts that are not a flange bolt and are that grey Darco coating.

I "think" it may be #28 in the pic that Chuck posted but I cannot get to that picture and thus that parts list searching quickly. No idea what Chuck put in to get directly to that and did not have a lot of time to search to find it. So, if you can find that same diagram, or if Chuck and post the link directly to it instead of the pic, then look at #28 in the actual part list below the diagram. A of the bolts have actual images of them.

But in a pinch, any of those other fender bolts appear to be the same length, size and pitch and should work.

Edit: Found the right diagram that Chuck posted. It is not 28 sice that is a flange bolt. I think that number 13 on the link that Jaymz posted is the correct one. It has the right coating and is a bolt/washer. and appears to be the right length and pitch.

The diagram I posted is from the link @jaymz posted, just a different page. At one time I thought the painted bolts were because the car had been resprayed and probably had damage. Not so.

Bumper.

Awesome thanks guys, Im going to check with the honda dealership again. The guy at the shop had no idea what the bolt was either. I do notice the bolt has some kinda coating on it which gives it a crusty white look. Hopefully this is the right bolt. Glad I was finally able to officially join this group after getting my S2.

Thanks engifineer, was a pain trying to figure out which bolt it was. I knew I could easily replace it with some random bolt but Wanted the perfect oem look. The previous owner lost it for some reason.
