Floor Jack from Harbour Freight.
Has anyone used this floor jack. It is the low profile , 2 ton ....
I'm wondering if this jack would be able to reach the front and rear jacking points on my "S" http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...ack-68050.html thx, Hp |
yea i was looking at this one too, id like to know as well

At stock height, it should work fine. Pricy though.

i just picked this one up a few weeks ago
http://www.harborfreight.com/rapid-p...html-7814.html $99 regular, but got it for $69 with a catalog coupon. just barely reaches the front jacking point on my stock ride height ap1. any lower and you'd have to roll the car onto some wood blocks first. but its a great jack for the money |
^bird... I almost ordered the same jack as you. I really need both but ya know the budget :) ! I took advantage of the sale yesterday and went with my choice for only two reasons... Its called " low profile" and it has a really high max lift point...
anyone else want to chime in... |
|
I had the same one as JBird. The only problem I had was the front roller would stick. Making it hard to roll around. But the actual jacl part worked great...
The one you are looking at is cool, but I'd wait for a sale... |

i have the other jack that's posted as well (99.00) one and there is no way I can fit that underneath my car without lifting from the side first or using wood, etc.
The one that you're looking at looks like it is a lower profile jack than the other one that's posted above. It looks like it may be able to reach the front lifting point without lifting the car first? If so, I'd say it's worth the money given the added convenience and increased lift range. |
I've had the $99 one for about 5 years, works great for me. Minimum height is 3.25". Your car has to be pretty low for that not to work. Rolls around fine on a concrete garage surface. Lifts high enough to get floor jacks under the car.
