Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers
so I came across a set of fortune auto coilovers 500 series for sale. Long story short, the guy had it on his project s2000 and he hasn’t been able to finish. He states that there are no miles on it. My worry is that there is no genuine fortune auto sticker. They have the regular fortune auto 500 series sticker but not the other sticker mentioned.

They look like other fortune coilovers I have seen but I am not sure how else you could verify them. The corrosion on the top of those hardly looks like they have no miles but I guess other parts look like they have just been sitting outside.

Since there in such rough shape i would be a little weary on the purchase. Ask him for a receipt and call the vendor he used and verify the purchase i guess would be the only thing i can think of.

those are legit FA coilovers. Coils prob sat on the car for a while undriven and had built up rust, i mean look at the rotor lol. Id ask to drive it on the car and see how it is before purchasing.

They must have been sitting there for yearssssss. Did he buy new? Maybe he bought them used but put on zero miles himself.
Unless you're getting a hell of a deal, I would skip it. Fortunte Auto 500 is already on its 6th generation so who knows how old this one is.

FA can rebuild them to their current gen 6 specs. So if they are cheap enough to allow sending in for rebuild and upgrade and still be a good deal, there is no real downside. Otherwise buy new FA, they're priced very reasonable for what they are
Be aware thay due to the very large shock body, FA max ride height is something like 1.5" below stock ride height. Fine if you were planning to go that low or lower anyway.
