Those look authentic - if the price is right I would buy them and send them for a rebuild - you could even get the spring rates changed. I have had very good luck with the 500 series - I have run them on both my s2000's with no issues.

So yes, I am getting for a hell of a deal. Paying $550 and it does look like they’re in very good condition.
Seller restated what he said and said he drove it for only 500 miles. Talked to fortune auto and they said it’s gen 5 and it’s rebuildable. However, I don’t believe they need a rebuild.

Seller was also confident that they don’t have any issues by offering a full refund if I found an issue with them after I drove with them on my s.

Personally, I would jump on a deal like that.

For me, FA doesn't fit my needs (really like their product and that they keep improving them, its just the max ride height that is the show stopper since I don't want to go that low).

$550 is a good deal for a used 5th gen if it doesn't require a rebuild.

Luckily, I live very close to the Fortune Auto Facility, which is in Richmond VA, and they inspected it. They said they are 100% usable and the surface rust can be rubbed off with WD-40.

Did you end up buying these? People are nuts saying that those were rough, they look brand new with a little surface rust on the top bolt lol , 15 seconds with a little oil and a bristle brush and they’re good as new. Curious how you like them if you picked them up.

Learned that people on here can sometimes be very critical. I did end up purchasing them. They ride perfect. Dialed it 14 clicks from soft and no issues. It’s been about a month now and they’re good!

Good to hear, I ran a set on my FD rx7 and personally loved them. And I agree the s2k community can get carried away for a sub 30k platform lol , you strait stole those coils.

If S2ki is 'critical,' I'm not sure how you'd fare on any other forum (well, back when forums were a thing).

Also, this kid's review is not exactly great, he's 19 and posts threads like this:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-ta...d-mpg-1179671/

Him saying these are great is like NA Miata kids going on about how great their racelands are.
