I think a supercharger combined with the 4.77s will show great promise

i havent ran nitrous on my s2k but i did on my old bswapped hatch. you could always do what one of my friends did and get a nitrous refill station in his garage, all the piping and lines and fittings was less than 200 bucks and he gets his nitrous in the big 5 foot tall bottles from national welders and it only cost him 3.20 a pound with a price lock for a year. (guy runs a stock motor 350z with nitrous and runs 11.4 in the quarter so he rolls through some gas)

makes it available at all times, removes the drive from the situation, and gives you a much cheaper price on gas. win, win, win!

Done you have to be a licensed welder to get those big tanks? I didn't think they sold em to joe shmoe off the street with kids gettin high n all. Lol.

My understanding was they welders use dental grade n2o rather than the ones with sulfur they use for cars...

Just what I've heard from folks so I could be wrong.

i am not sure, he just had to make an account for it (also uses other gases for tig/mig welders at his house) and have all that pertinent information, ss, proper id, all that jazz. and it is the dental grade, no smell at all when purging the lines to fill a bottle. id understand your concern but im not 100% sure about the kids huffing anything nowadays but i know it wasnt a big deal to get it done at all

If you can work all that out then the nos isn't a bad deal.
Refilling those bottles gets $$$ after a while. Lol.

Id stay stock fix up the car exterior wise, and just save for a good supercharger or turbo kit and get one in 2013 they'll still be around.

stay stock or go n2o, you'll need more then 3k if you want to seriously boost the car.

I'd definitely go the sc route. Can definitely find a kit around 2500 used. Competency kits go for around there I believe. Can bolt it on and usually run good right out of the box at the stock boost levels.
Then later on can get an ems and injectors and tune for hig 300's if youd like which I can guarantee eventually you will want!
