Leave it stock. An uncool car that makes a bunch of noise is the least cool car.

Also doing things twice is a waste of money.

You're in luck 'cuz every aftermarket exhaust is louder than stock plus you get some additional drone.

You can get one for $150 on Ebay. Since it's a single it's twice as easy to install. The OEM exhaust is one piece. Start soaking the bolts at the catalytic converter with PB Blaster while you're waiting for delivery.

Not sure your neighbors will appreciate the noise but the guys at the high school will love it.

This, save your money for something you want, or do some maintenance on the car first so you can drive it.

Uk mod. A simple mod to muffler that any exhaust shop can perform. A bypass pipe is welded to back of each muffler. Size of pipe determines how loud it'll be.

People have done 25mm to 44mm diameter bypass pipe.

No drone. Good sound. Cheapest possible solution (typically around $150 to have shop do it).

What’s not to expensive? $500? $1500? $100? Depending on the actual budget changes the answer to this quote a bit.

HKS is probably the cheapest and best sounding for the money. Lots of people are highly satisfied with this exhaust. You can come in at around 700 buck$. They even make a single that's a few dollars cheaper.

All aftermarket exhausts for this car are overpriced IMO, especially if you want one that does not drone you to death. UK mod is a good option that many do. Gives it more sound without being obnoxious. I still run stock exhaust on mine other than the header and cat, so it sounds pretty much the same as stock and mine mostly sees track and autox use. I do have a flange so I can remove the y pipe and mufflers to save weight for the bigger autox events. Do not run it that way on the street really as it is a bit loud, but even then it does not drone and is not as annoying as some s2ks I have ridden in with aftermarket exhausts lol. If that gives you an idea of how some sound! Loud is one thing, raspy is a worse thing, drone is horrible to live with if you drive it a lot.
