Thumbs up Got tuned on a mustang dyno. 226 whp

Got tuned in Long Island at Peformance Motorosports last week.

My mods are a Spugen dual oval exhaust, K&N FIPK intake and stock cat was in. I had a vafc1 to tune with.

The highest number was 227 WHP and 146 WTQ This was on a Mustang dyno.
It was getting hot at the end so would have made more if it cooled down more first. But those are real world driving numbers.

I was trying to see if these numbers are normally less or more on other dyno's? I have seen many people showing around 210 whp with a test pipe in. Do those dyno's show less power or did mine just make some nice power? I have a test pipe which I didn't want to have on cause I can't stand how much raspier it makes my exhaust sound. I will maybe buy a Berks HFC and install that with a Megan header. That should get me a bit more. Would love to get up to 240 whp.
I have gears that will be here hopefully next week from hardtopguy, so can't wait for those!!

Mustang dynos usually read lower, but every dyno is different and can be calibrated to read ridiculously high. If your looking for 240whp I have a feeling your going to be disappointed.

Yeah well maybe not that high but with the same dyno I was on I'm sure I could get 235 whp out of a new header and test pipe on a cooler engine. I think this Mustang dyno was calibrated to read a bit higher than most.

Mustang dyno's usually run lower, you made good power for an ap1 with intake and exhaust. Must have put a good tune on it with the afc.

wow! those are really high number for a mustang dyno. 227whp is at least 260 on some dyno-jets. must be fast!
