Smile Has anybody tried the Ballade 76mm Exhaust

Hello everybody,

Does anybody have the Ballade 76mm exhaust and would like to share their thoughts and opinions on it? I tried to find reviews but it doesn't look like there is much out there. I was on the hunt for something comparable to the HKS single, as I'm looking for a bigger free-er flowing exhaust just in case I pull the trigger on a supercharger later. I currently have the HKS dual, but am looking for just a little more aggression in the exhaust note.

If anybody has one, I'm really interested in daily driving characteristics and cold start volume (I leave for work around 5 AM and would like to be somewhat considerate to my neighbors). Also, any dyno graphs or results with a flashpro tune + test pipe?

Thank you!

All single 70mm exhausts range from noisy to loud. 60mm are reasonably quiet. Therefore I doubt 76mm will be "considerate".

I've owned 5 exhausts and listen to several local cars, all ranging from 60-76mm (Berk) and if you want a subtle sound, stick with 60mm.

IMO, you will need to stay under 70mm to stay reasonable, however everyone's idea of quiet is different so you may hear different opinions. Maybe the closest you could get to "considerate" is an exhaust that has a 70mm midpipe and gigantic resonator and dual mufflers like a Greddy SE (don't remember if they are 70mm midpipe). But the Greddy SE is still 'boomy' to my ears.

I don't think any 70mm+ single will not be very quiet at all.

I personally think, if you're planning to boost then power wont really be an issue. Use a 60mm that sounds good and turn up the psi if you want to go faster.

Ballades exhaust looks like an hks single clone with the removal of a resonator. That being said, I haveno doubts that it will be loud as hell. I just recently picked up an evs single after hearing one in person. It sounded reasonable to me haha. I'm going to put it on next weekend.
