Default To header or not to header

Current set up:

K&N FPIK2
Berk Test Pipe
Apexi N1 single (63.5mm i thinks?)

i have an emanage ultimate just need to buy the pnp harness and get it tuned.

but i was wondering is it worth getting a header or should i just go straight to tune and use the OEM header.

i mean id hope to make like 225 or something to the wheels (made 200 on mustang with mods minus TP)

id go FI but dont know if that will be any time soon (thats major $$)

The only header ive seen with proven gains over and over is the J's header. Usual gains ive seen is about 6-8. Megan has a few claimed gains as well. Berk has been proven to lose power so stay away from that one. Youll still be fine with the OEM header since its a really well design, but if you cant spend the money for a J's then your better off staying OEM.

i think headers are worth it. But it depends what your looking for. Some headers give low-mid range or you can get a J's which would give you more high end

i'v read most headers are minimal gains. i have a 5zigen header, didnt really noticed anything, except the weight difference of the oem to aftermarket. HOLY COW man that oem header is HEAVY. so if you can find a decent header for a decent price, i'd say pick it up for the weight savings if anything

well..... if you have someone decent tuning your emanage for you, you can get a little bit more out of it if you have a decent header. also theres an official header thread out there, look for it.

I thought there were gains with the berk? There's a big thread about this during the pre-release and post-release

The header definately helps. Ive been very pleased with my J's Racing one, and the weight savings is worth is too IMO
