The downsides to the test pipe are exhaust odor, some soot (on bumper, etc), and the destruction of the ozone layer that will lead to humanities demise.

I can understand if its a car that isn't driven often. Otherwise its irresponsible (and of course illegal) to regularly drive a car that does not have a cat.

sunlight breaks down NO2 and CO2, NO2 becomes NO and O, and CO2 becomes C and O2, O and O2 collide and make O3. O3 is earths natural sterilizer.

Too much NOx amd not enough sun, means not enough o3, which results in imbalance.

I'm sure everyone here knows about balance

We used to have an Ozone layer down here at the butt-end of the planet back in the '70s when I was a young kid. I think it went out with flared jeans and disco and sideburns. Nowadays we're all about that third degree sunburn and melanoma. Hurrah for progress!

is it possible to lower VTEC on ap1 2003 without changing ECU to RSX's?

GReddy Emanage and I believe Apexi has a small piggy back that might be able to as well.

Sadly true. But I think this was due to all the Auqanet aerosol hairspray being used in the 80's
