So Ive been messing with the coilovers and found out it has more than 36 clicks, more than the advertised 30 clicks. Does anybody else have this issue? Front i get a total of 36 clicks and 40 clicks rear. At this point im puzzled to what is the factory setting.

Usually you want to start counting from the stiffest setting backwards, most coilovers are made this way. My old Buddy Clubs were, they had more clicks than advertised, to set them up turn the clicks all the way to stiff, usually clockwise and count backwards from there.

2019 bump. I have the same 36 in the front and 40 in the rear as opposed to the advertised 30 steps all around with my Hipermax IV GT

What exactly are you worried about? Your coilovers aren't broken or damaged if that's what you're thinking.

Turn to full stiff. Count clicks backward.

If "full soft" is 32 clicks, and that's the setting you want....then count 32 clicks backward from full stiff.

Like virtually every adjustable shock in the world.

I'm sure its in the owner's manual.

I don't know what the internals are like in these things, but if you've ever rebuilt an inverted motorcycle fork you can see how something like this happens. If you don't fully back out the rebound rod adjuster and screw it in the correct amount of turns, then set the jam nut and double check you can end up with more clicks than there should be.
