Rev is cool, but not with the $$

what are you using to mount the iphone? I have a modifry mount but what kind of holder is that for the iphone that you used?

Did you put any thought into possibly doing the mount within the cup holder itself? Possibly some sort of a horizontal mount that fits in the cup holder slot. This would prevent you from having to cut holes into the sliding cover and still gives you the availability that you sought.

(Not trying to criticize your work, just wondering what other ideas you might have pondered.)

Yes I did, It would almost fit perfectly into the frontmost cup holder at an angle, would be very easy to do. I use the lid so I could keep access to the screen.

I have an iphone hooked up with a cable running inside the cupholder. Like TheChazz's setup, I control it with the dash controls. There is just enough slack in the cable for me to lift the phone to my ear or lift it up to mess with GPS etc.

Ideally I would mount it the way Apex Surgeon has, but then there's a dangly cable....

Ive been getting LOTS of messages on this over the past few weeks. So from here I will say if interested, contact me via PM. If I get a big enough list together Ill make a mold and send it to be manufactured.

Do any of the retailers here want to stock it? I dont want to deal with sales and a business account.
