Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, as well as owning an s2000. (Well sorta) I'm about to buy one. The one I'm looking at comes with an Invidia exhaust, but no cat. I was wondering if it would be a lot of trouble to add one, or if I'd have to get a whole new exhaust system. I'm not very knowledgeable of exhausts and everything, but thanks in advance!

You just need to find a used cat to buy. It's 5 bolts and the o2 sensor. Just buy and o2 socket from an auto store and then the bolts.

Depending on which invidia it is you may want to get rid of it anyways.

Yeah ditch that exhaust it's the N1. It's going to be ear bleeding loud. See if someone in your area will trade you there oem exhaust and cat for it. It's a very easy job. You don't exactly need a cat as long as your area doesn't require a visual inspection and the car doesn't have a cel from the test pipe.

Yeah I second not buying it unless you're one of the people who want the loudest most droning exhaust which some people like.

I won't say the car isn't worth buying but just plan to dump that exhaust right away.
