Invidia Q300 V. HKS HP Dual
I'm new to the whole non-domestic cars thing, I've been a Ford guy my whole life, but I decided to go to the "dark side" as it were about 2 months ago.
I picked up my AP2, and so far I'm flat on my face in love with it.
I'm heading to a place where I'll come back with a chunk of change and I'm looking at doing a few modifications. I have a friend who knows quite a bit about the non-domestic world, but he is limited to Mitsubishi. I've really got no idea how to make these choices, so I'll enlist the help of some of the guys here, mostly because y'all's reputation as a community is so high.
So, to the down and dirty, I'm wanting to supercharge, and I'm looking for a good pairing/ setup of other parts to assist in making the little 4-popper stable.
Opinions?

If i remember correctly, the HKS is only a 63mm exhaust so it won't benefit too much for power but it is considered one of the best sounding exhaust systems for this car. I had a q300 and loved it. It's 70mm so it will be better for power than the HKS. It does get raspy when paired with a high flow cat or test pipe which sounds terrible IMO.
If power is your main goal than your car will most benefit from a single exhaust system. Especially if going forced induction.

^^This.
I would read up on the material in the right subforum, specifically:
Forced Induction thread:

Naturally Aspirated thread (because they talk about intakes, exhausts, test pipes, etc. - mods you can do prior to going FI):

Official Exhaust Thread:

Just get the hks dual. It's impossible to not like the sound and i've had both. Q300 I could see could be hit or miss for a lot of people because of the rasp it gives off with a test pipe or hfc unless you plan on keeping the stock cat.
