K&N FIPK Query
Hello All,
I'm looking at the K&N FIPK Intake and I found 2 models of it, 57-3514 and 63-3514. From what I can gather they are both identical however the 57 model is simply legal in California for people in the US. Can anyone re-confirm they are exactly the same and either will do please? And is there any different fitment since mine is a 2008? (AP1 model with the F20C2, since it's EUDM) I've had a person on an owners group tell me I need to get the model with a sensor hole but from what I've seen everywhere they are both exactly the same. Can anyone please provide some more info about this? Thank you so much. |
My 57-3514 came with the magic CARB compliance label. Both models look to be identical and fit all S2000s regardless of model year or engine. The sensor hole was a user-added option on my 57-model.
26b.On vehicles equipped with an inlet air temperature sensor, remove the intake tube from the vehicle and drill a 5/8”id hole at the spot indicated in the previous step. Install the provided grommet into the hole as shown. -- Chuck |
Thank you! Good to hear both are compatible

Before dropping the money on this look at the LHT airbox mod which only takes an hour or so. Increases induction noise and preserves the OE look.

Mine didn’t have a sensor hole but it came with a grommet type thing and I drilled the hole myself, put the grommet thing in, and that works just fine. And mine is a 2007
